Two videos have surfaced over the past week of Bangor street artist Pigeon – now revealed as regionally exhibited artist Orson Horchler – wheatpasting his unique sketches to several downtown surfaces. I wrote a feature last year about Pigeon’s appearance on the scene, and in the year since, there have been more examples of Pigeon’s art downtown, as well as other wheatpastings by other people, including a series of “My Little Pony”-style horses done by an artist who still remains unknown. Anyway, the first video to surface was shot by Pigeon himself, along with a friend identified only as “John.” It shows the pair canoeing down the Kenduskeag, and putting a new piece of art on the interior walls of the canals that run through downtown Bangor.

The second video was posted on Monday, Dec. 10, and was shot by Zeth and Betsy Lundy of Central Street Farmhouse, who asked Pigeon to put a new mural up on their wall on the side of their building. They shot a time-lapse video overnight; here’s the result.
