Spose’s “King of Maine” video visits all 16 counties, reps hard for the 207

Rapper Spose, a.k.a. Ryan Peters, decided that he did not want to wait until tonight, as planned, to post the new music video for his new God.Damn.Chan-produced song “King of Maine.” So he unleashed it by surprise on the Internet this afternoon — a four-minute anthem for every kind of Mainer from every part of the state, accompanied by footage shot by Jason Bosch of Red Stallion Media, which features people and places from Presque Isle to Spose’s hometown of sposeWells, and everywhere in between. Eagle-eyed Mainers can see clips from every county in the state, which Peters and Bosch visited and filmed over the winter in an epic 1,300-mile road trip from Aroostook to Washington to York to Oxford.

As with most of Spose’s songs, there’s naughty language and drug references both verbal and visual, so if you are offended by such things, don’t watch.
