Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, 311 set for Portland outdoor venues this summer

Three new summer shows were announced over the past week for two Portland outdoor venues.

Waterfront Concerts announced that blues legend and Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer Bonnie Raitt would perform at the Maine State Pier in Portland on Friday, Aug. 19. Tickets for the show are on sale this Friday, March 11, via Ticketmaster. Waterfront Concerts also announced that rock reggae band 311 will perform with guests Matisyahu on Sunday, July 17, also at the Maine State Pier. Finally, as part of its second season, the State Theatre will present Bob Dylan with guest Mavis Staples at Thompson’s Point in Portland, set for Saturday, July 16. This will be Dylan’s first show in Maine since appearing in Bangor in 2011. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on Friday, March 18. For more information, visit statetheatreportland.com.
